We are currently partnering with one of Georgia’s largest and most established resort destinations to identify a high-caliber Executive General Manager who will lead the next phase of growth, operational excellence, and strategic development.

This opportunity is open to both local and international candidates, and we are actively considering relocation for qualified professionals with relevant global experience.

 

Role Overview:

 

The Executive General Manager will be responsible for the full operational, financial, and strategic leadership of a large-scale resort complex (500+ employees), located in Georgia.

This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to ownership/board level, with full accountability for business performance, guest experience, and long-term development strategy.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Lead and oversee all hotel and resort operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments
• Drive financial performance (P&L ownership), including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
• Define and execute long-term business strategy and growth initiatives
• Ensure exceptional guest experience and service standards, aligned with international benchmarks
• Build and lead a high-performing leadership team and organizational culture
• Oversee large-scale infrastructure, renovation, and development projects
• Maintain strong relationships with ownership and board, including regular performance reporting
• Optimize key commercial metrics: Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR

 

 

Requirements

 

• Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role (General Manager / Director of Operations / equivalent) within a 150+ room, 200+ staff hotel or resort
• Strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, and P&L ownership
• Proven experience in large-scale operations and strategic planning
• Solid understanding of Revenue Management and commercial performance drivers
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and complex structures
• Experience in resort operations or multi-department environments is highly preferred
• International experience is a strong advantage
